INVITATION TO BID For the 2020 Renovations UNITED TECHNICAL CENTER CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA Sealed bids for the proposed Renovations at United Technical Center, will be received by United Technical Center, Attention: Matthew Call 251 Marietta Street, Clarksburg, West Virginia, 26301 by 1:30 pm L.P.T., on September 2, 2021, for furnishing labor and materials and performing all Work set forth in the Contract Documents prepared by Omni Associates Architects which will be available as of August 6, 2021. The project will be bid under a Single Prime Contract. The project consists of the following: 1. Remove old and install new roof hatch 2. Provide new roof walkway pads 3. Remove and install new rooftop air handler units (8 total) to include reconnecting utilities (gas piping, electrical wiring, condensate piping) for complete operable systems. 4. Provide ductwork transitions or adapter curbs as required to coordinate with existing conditions and new unit connections. 5. Install 8 new thermostats. 6. Install 1 new roof hydrant and associated piping. Immediately following the scheduled closing time for receiving bids, all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud assuming that the bids submitted are in accordance with the conditions of the Contract Documents. Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the reception of Bids will be returned unopened to the Bidders.
