REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FIRE DEPT. MASTER PLAN The CITY OF NITRO is requesting proposals for the development of a twenty year Master Plan for the Nitro Fire Department. The Master Plan is to consist of a formal report and the compilation of timelines and cost estimates that are to address the Nitro Fire Department and the City of Nitro needs, issues, and opportunities. The proposal is to address the following in the Nitro Fire Department: efficiency, short and long term strategies, future services, improvement in effectiveness, building renovations and new construction, replacement and/or rotation of apparatus, attendance at city meetings, projecting population growth, analysis of budgets, addressing revenue sources, recruitment and retention, community risk reduction, reduction of costs, training and development of officers, grant procurement.
