ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS LOGAN COUNTY PUBLIC SERVICE DISTRICT LOGAN COUNTY, WV MILL CREEK TANK LANDSLIDE REPAIR PROJECT Sealed Bids for the construction of: Mill Creek Tank Landslide Repair Project Contract No. 1 – Furnishing all materials, labor, and necessary items for the construction and installation of approximately 60 linear feet of Pile Wall and other related items as outlined in the Plans and Specifications. Sealed Bids for the construction of Contract No. 1 will be received by Ben F. Lowe, Jr. (Chair-Logan County Public Service District) at the offices of the Logan County Public Service District; 41 Armory Road, Monaville, WV 25636, until 1:00 p.m. local time on November 3, 2021, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be conducted at the Logan County Public Service District office at 10:00 a.m. local time on October 12, 2021. Separate Bids will be received for Contract No. 1. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President’s Executive Order No. 11246 entitled “Equal Employment Opportunity” as amended by Executive Order No. 11375 which prohibits discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex or national origin. Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Davis-Bacon Act, the Copeland Anti-Kickback Act, the Contract Work Hours and Safety Act, and the Drug-Free Workplace Provisions pursuant to West Virginia Code 21-1D-5. No Bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the time of the opening of the Bids. Any Contractor submitting a Bid on this project hereby certifies, indicates, and acknowledges that he has a license and meets all the qualifications required by the statutes of the State and subdivision in which the work is to be performed. The Contractor shall comply with the West Virginia Contractor Licensing Act and shall require all subcontractors to comply with that Act. A Contractor’s License Number is to be included on the bid submission.
