STANDBY GENERATOR SET The Elk Valley Public Service District is advertising for proposals the purchase and installation of a Taylor Model TG30 standby generator or equal unit to run the Little Sandy Lift Station site in case of a power outage. The Unit shall be rated at 30kw on Natural Gas, 120/240 volt, 3 phase, 60Hz. The unit must be capable to use a manual key override by-pass switch that allows a start of the generator manually in the event of control systems failure. Also, the controller shall incorporate easy menus for setup and configuration without the use of additional PLC’s or computer connection. All program functions and software shall be NON- proprietary. The supplier of the generator set must have a full-service, sales, and parts facility within 50 miles of the Elk Valley PSD and be registered to do business in the State of West Virginia.
