REQUESTS FOR PROPOSAL The City of Nitro Requests for Proposal Partnership for Deployment of High-Speed Broadband in the City of Nitro, WV. Nitro City Council seeks to partner with a private entity to collaborate with the city to build a fiber optic broadband network. Sealed proposals will be accepted until 4:00 pm, Tuesday, November 9, 2021 and will be opened on November 16, 2021 at 7:00 pm at the regularly scheduled meeting of Nitro City Council, 497 First Avenue South, Nitro, WV 25143 or mailed to Nitro City Hall, Attn: City Recorder, P. O. Box 308, Nitro, WV 25143. The sealed proposals will be opened and publicly read aloud at the meeting of Council. Envelopes shall be marked “Responses to RFP for Partnership for Deployment of High-Speed Broadband” in the lower left corner. Email submissions will not be accepted. After opening proposals will be forwarded to the City Council Committee for Broadband for review and recommendation to Nitro City Council at a future meeting. In awarding a proposal, the Council reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive formalities, informalities and technicalities therein, and to take whatever proposal they determine to be in the best interest of the City of Nitro considering cost, proposal content, qualifications of the vendor, quality of project approach, time of delivery or completion, responsibility of vendors being considered, previous experience of vendors with broadband projects, or any other factors they deem appropriate.
