ADVERTISE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) To Purchase/Contract For new radio communications system for Cabell County, this will include but not be limited to replace its legacy conventional UHF analog two-way radio system use by the county EMS, Law enforcement and volunteer Fire departments. The County requires a single contractor to provide a modern P25 radio system, including any upgrades or replacement to the connectivity network and all backhaul components necessary to support the radio system. Cabell County has a land area of approx. 286 sq. mi located in Western West Virginia. The County’s existing radio equipment for EMS, Law and Volunteer fire serves which is approximately 10 public safety agencies. The Majority of the county’s existing LMR equipment is at end-of-life and no longer provides sufficient coverage or capacity to meet the county’s future needs.
