Proposals are to be made on the forms bound in the project manual in the manner designated in the specifications. Proposals must be uploaded to the Owner’s Electronic Bonfire site: https://kanawhacs.bonfirehub.com or provided in sealed envelope, mailed or hand delivered to bid opening sites prior to bid opening time noted above. Bids must include the bid number, name and address of the bidder, and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the Kanawha County Board of Education for an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the proposal and must be delivered at the place designated on or before the date and hour named. The Kanawha County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any formalities therein, and award contract to the Bidder in which the Owner determines to be in their best interest.
