NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE VILLAGE OF BARBOUSRVILLE MUNICIPAL BUIDLING COMMISSION AUTHORITY UNDER W.Va. Code 8-33-1 Et. Seq. – Notice is hereby given by the Village of Barboursville Municipal Building Commission that it will have a meeting on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at 10 am at City Hall, Council Chambers, 721 Central Avenue, Barboursville, West Virginia 25504. Any interested persons may attend. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss and approve (1) a resolution of appointed members of the board of the Village of Barboursville, West Virginia, Municipal Building Commission adopting certain policies, standards and procedures relating to its organization in accordance with the code of the Village of Barboursville, as amended, article 147 creating a municipal building commission, and by authority of West Virginia code 8-33-1, et seq., (2) a resolution of appointed members of the board of the Village of Barboursville, West Virginia, Municipal Building Commission authorizing a purchase and sale agreement for the sale of property commonly referred to as the Barboursville Convention and Visitors Bureau Building at 701 main street, together with the improvements thereon and the appurtenances for the sum of $450,000 and such other terms as in a purchase agreement, and (3) at such meeting the members shall then take such action as it shall deem proper upon the resolutions and any related matters. The Municipal Building Commission proposed resolutions and related documents are available for public inspection in the City Hall, 721 Central Avenue, Barboursville, West Virginia 25504 during normal business hours, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. A vote on the resolutions will take place at the scheduled special meeting. If adopted, the resolutions will take effect on upon passage.
