CLAYTON SMITH & SONS 3133 CHARLESTON ROAD POCA, WV 25159-7261 Location: CHARLESTON, KANAWHA COUNTY Latitude: 38:22:16 Longitude: 81:36:24 Receiving Stream: Elk River Activity: To operate and maintain a treatment and disposal system and best management practices for the direct discharge of treated industrial wastes (concrete truck washout wastewater) and storm water runoff via Outlet No. 001 and Outlet No. 002 to the Elk River. The outlets identified in the Permit are existing outlets. An antidegradation review has been conducted and Tier 1 protection is provided for the uses specified in Title 47, Series 2, Section 6. Implementation: N/A On the basis of review of the application, the “Water Pollution Control Act (Chapter 22, Article 11-8(a)),” and the “West Virginia Legislative Rules,” the State of West Virginia will act on the above application. Any interested person may submit written comments on the draft permit and may request a public hearing by addressing such to the Director of the Division of Water and Waste Management within 30 days of the date of the public notice.
