IN THE CIRCUIT COURT OF KANAWHA COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA CIVIL ACTION NO. 21-C-1139 SUCCOTASH, LLC, A WEST VIRGINIA LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY PLAINTIFF vs. ANDREA TAYLOR AND JALAIEN TAYLOR AND OTHER UNKNOWN PARTIES DEFENDANTS. AMENDED ORDER OF PUBLICATION The object of above styled civil action is to Quiet Title in Plaintiff to a parcel of real estate situate in Loudon District of Kanawha County, West Virginia described as follows: All that certain parcel of land with any improvements thereon and appurtenances thereunto belonging, situate on the Long Branch of Middle Fork of Davis Creek, Louden District, Kanawha County, West Virginia, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at a hickory on a flat corner to the lands of Crumby and the Andrew Dunlap survey; thence with the line of the Byers land and the lower line of the Amanda Pauley land 167 poles to a black jack; thence N 56 1/2 poles to a sour wood and thence to the top of the hill to a black jack and thence running a straight line 30 poles out the ridge in a western direction to a stake on the top of the hill with the “Gideon Hill Line”; thence a straight line in an eastern direction 114 poles 7 2/3 feet to a hickory near the top of the other hill; thence a straight line to the place of beginning. BEING the area of a tract of land, more or less, on the Long Branch of Middle Fork of Davis Creek, Louden District, Kanawha County, West Virginia and being the same tract or parcel of land that was conveyed to J. C. Taylor and Sarah W. Taylor and George Williams by Deed from Rudy Childers, dated March 7, 1940, and of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Kanawha County, West Virginia in Deed Book 544, at page 209. And also being the same property conveyed by Grace Harris to J.C. Taylor by deed dated August 24, 1955 of record in the aforesaid Clerk’s Office in Deed Book 1200, at page 437 and also being the same as was conveyed by Vera J. McCormick, Clerk of the County Commission of Kanawha County, West Virginia to Succotash, LLC, a West Virginia Limited Liability Company by deed dated the 11th day of April 2018 and of record in the aforesaid Clerk’s office in Deed Book 2998, at page 341, and shown upon Loudon District Tax Map 6, as Parcel 28. And it appearing from Affidavit filed in said action that there may be interest holders in the above described property whose names and whereabouts are unknown to the Plaintiff. It is therefore ORDERED that the above named Defendants, together with any unknown persons holding or claiming interest in the above described estate serve upon John E. Dorsey, Plaintiff’s attorney, whose address is 407 Pennsylvania Avenue, Charleston, WV 25302, on or before January 31, 2022, an answer to the complaint herein filed, otherwise, judgment by default may be taken against the Defendant, and said unknown parties at any time thereafter. A copy of the Complaint in this action can be obtained from the undersigned Clerk at her office.
