INVITATION TO BID The Greenbrier Historical Society, 814 Washington Street, West, Lewisburg, WV 24901 is requesting bids for roof work on the Blue Sulphur Pavilion in Blue Sulphur Springs, WV. The project includes: 1. The removal and disposal of the existing roof structure. 2. The raising of the columns to original height. 3. The installation of a new roof to replicate the 1838 original. The project completion date is not later than May 31, 2022 and will be reviewed by the West Virginia State Historic Preservation Office. Contractors will be selected based upon (1) cost, (2) experience with similar historic preservation projects, and (3) proven ability to complete a project. The contractor must carry out the described work in compliance with the Secretary of Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation.
