ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Williamson Shriver Architects Project – Commission #2017-013 RFQ# 22-130 The Kanawha County Board of Education, Charleston, WV will receive bids for A New Herbert Hoover High School for Work Package #7 – Furnishings & Equipment, Proposals 7-2 Residential Appliances and Industrial Appliances, until 1:30 p.m., local prevailing time on March 3, 2022, at the office of the Purchasing Department for Kanawha County Schools, 3300 Pennsylvania Avenue, Charleston, WV 25302, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud or as designated by Dr. Thomas Williams, Superintendent, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference has been scheduled for 1:30 p.m., local prevailing time on February 17, 2022 at the office of the Purchasing Department for Kanawha County Schools, 3300 Pennsylvania Avenue, Charleston, WV 25302. The contract documents are available only from https://kanawhacs.bonfirehub.com This project is federally funded, in part, therefore each Bidder must comply with the REQUIRED CONTRACT PROVISIONS FOR NON-FEDERAL ENTITY CONTRACTS UNDER FEDERAL AWARDS – APPENDIX II TO 2 CFR, PART 200. The Board of Education of the County of Kanawha, Charleston WV reserves the right to reject any or all bids. A satisfactory bid bond furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the State of West Virginia, in an amount equal to five (5%) of the total amount of bid, payable to the Kanawha County Board of Education, shall be submitted with each Bid. Each (The) successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond and the fee for same shall be included in their bid.
