No.: WV0029530 Applicant: SISSONVILLE PSD 6438 SISSONVILLE DR SISSONVILLE, WV 25320 Location: SISSONVILLE, KANAWHA COUNTY Latitude: 38:31:33 Longitude: 81:37:54 Receiving Stream: Pocatilico/Kanawha Activity: To operate and maintain an existing wastewater collection system and an existing 0.6 million gallons per day wastewater treatment plant. The facilities are to serve a population equivalent of approximately 7,000 persons in the Sissonville Public Service District, and environs, and discharge treated wastewater through Outlet No. 001 to the Pocatalico River, approximately 25.4 miles from its mouth, of the Kanawha River. To accept nondomestic wastewater from the Fleming Sanitary Landfill and the Jackson County Landfill for subsequent treatment and disposal. Also, to incorporate the requirements relative to Title 33, Series 2 of the West Virginia Legislative Rules for the processing and disposal of sewage sludge generated by the wastewater treatment plant. Sewage sludge generated and/or processed at the permittee’s facility shall be disposed of at a sanitary landfill by placing the sewage sludge in the landfill cell. An antidegradation review has been conducted. Tier 1 protection is provided for the designated uses identified in 47 CSR 2, Section 6.
