REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
DESCRIPTION: 2020 LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL LIGHTING PROJECT
The Town of Bluefield, Virginia will be accepting sealed proposals for services from qualified organizations that can design, supply, and install field lighting at the Bluefield Virginia Little League (BVLL) fields located outside the Graham Recreation Park in Bluefield, Virginia. Proposers are encouraged to submit proposals for the complete or “turnkey” field lighting system including the design, engineering, procurement, and installation, including all labor and materials, to Town of Bluefield, Virginia, ATTN: Town Manager, 112 Huffard Drive, Bluefield, Virginia 24605 on or before 10:00 a.m. EST on May 18, 2020, and conspicuously illustrate LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL LIGHTING PROJECT on the packaging sent. All proposals received after 10:00 a.m. on May 18th, 2020 will be returned unopened. MBE/WBE/SBE firms are encouraged to submit proposals. All proposers must comply with the following: the President’s Executive Order Number 11246 prohibiting discrimination in employment regarding race, color, creed, sex, or national origin; the President’s Executive Orders Number 12138 and 11625 regarding utilization of MBE/WBE firms; and the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Proposers must certify that they do not maintain or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregated on the basis of race, color, creed, or national origin.
