CIVIL ACTION NO. 15-C-158-WS NOTICE OF FILING OF PETITION FOR FORFEITURE The object of this suit it to seek an order forfeiting the herein described property pursuant to the West Virginia Contraband Forfeiture Act, Chapter 60A, Article 7, Section 701 through 707, et. seq., as amended. To: Any claimant of a right or interest in said property You have the right to file a claim to the herein described property on or before the 29th day of June, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. before the Honorable Judge William J. Sadler. Any such claim must clearly sate the identity of the claimant and an address where legal process can be served upon said claimant. The property seized and subject of this suit is described as follows SIX HUNDRED, FIFTY-TWO DOLLARS AND NO CENTS ($652.00), A .380 JIMINEZ PISTOL S/N 151530, AND A 1994 CHEVROLET CAMARO Z24 BEARING VIN 2G1FP22P7R2153359 The law enforcement agency responsible for the seizure is the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department. The seizure was made on March 27th, 2015 during a search of the residence located at Edgewood Apartments #14, Bluefield, WV 24701 That the above listed respondent property was in the possession of Eric Robinson and Amber Duncan. That after the date for filing of said claims, an order of the Court directing forfeiture of the seized property to the State and vesting ownership of said property shall be sought. If you fail to file a claim, thereafter an order, upon proper herein, may be entered against you for the relief demanded in the petition.
