The American Red Cross, Greater Alleghenies Blood Services Region, will hold the election of its volunteer board of directors and annual meeting on Thursday, May 14, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at The Conference Center at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. The Greater Alleghenies Blood Services Region serves hospitals, patients and donors across Kentucky, Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia and includes service facilities in Altoona, Pa.; Beaver, Pa.; Huntington, W. Va.; Johnstown, Pa.; Morgantown, W. Va.; Parkersburg, W. Va.; and Winchester, Va. The annual meeting is open to the public.
