LEGAL NOTICE REQUEST FOR BID 4 WHEEL DRIVE GMC 3500 SERIES MOTOR VEHICLE – GASOLINE ONLY The City of Welch is soliciting competitive firm fixed priced bids from qualified vendors for a 4-wheel drive GMC 3500 series vehicle – gasoline only, with automatic transmission, 9′ utility body, 4000 lb. electric crane w/outriggers, western snow plow, and pipe rack. Sealed bids will be received at City Hall, Welch, WV 24801 located at 88 Howard Street, Welch, WV 24801 no later than 3:00 p.m., 20 May 2015, at which time all sealed bids will be publically opened and read aloud. Bids received after this date and time shall not be opened or considered for award. ALL BIDDERS QUESTIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING ONLY TO: Reba Honaker, Mayor The City of Welch 88 Howard Street Welch, WV 24801 All bids must be submitted in accordance with this Request for Bid. This contract for purchase shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose proposal is determined to be the most advantageous to the City of Welch based on price and other factors, including, but not limited to, quality of equipment, reputation of product and equipment, repair cost estimates and any other factor deemed pertinent by the City of Welch.
