The Fairmont-Marion County Regional Airport Authority will receive proposals for Contract 2015-01 until 12:00 PM EDT on Wednesday. January 21, 2015. The proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at 12:00 PM EDT the same day in the Airport Conference Room at the Fairmont Municipal Airport.
Contract 2015-01 includes: T-Hangar Building Procurement
The, specifications and other contract documents are on file and open to the public for inspection at the office of the ENGINEER, L.R. Kimball, 615 West Highland Avenue, Ebensburg, Pennsylvania 15931. Contract documents and proposal forms may be obtained from the ENGINEER, upon deposit of $25.00. This amount is non-refundable.
Bids shall be prepared and submitted on the prescribed forms in accordance with instructions contained in the Instructions to Bidders of the Project Manual. The Fairmont-Marion County Regional Airport Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the same. Each bidder must deposit with his/her proposal a bid security in an amount equal to at least (5) percent of his/her bid. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within one hundred twenty (120) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
Successful bidders must enter into the Agreement and furnish a Contract Bond and evidence of required insurance within fifteen (15) days after notification of acceptance of such proposals, all as more specifically required in the Contract Documents.
The Fairmont-Marion County Regional Airport Authority, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 23, Nondiscrimination in Federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation, issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
