Advertisement for Bids The City of Welch Dump Truck The City of Welch, West Virginia, will receive sealed bids properly endorsed “Dump Truck Bid Proposal” until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2014 in the City Hall, 88 Howard Street, Welch, WV 24801, (304)436-3113, at which time all bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in bidding and to accept the bid considered to be in its best interest from the lowest responsible bidder. All interested parties are invited to attend. The City of Welch is seeking to purchase a used International Dump Truck Model Year 1993 or newer. Truck must have less than 40,000 actual miles. The City of Welch is seeking a 29,000 GWV Truck, with airbrake system, 210 HP DT466 Engine, 5 speed manual transmission, 10 foot contractor dump body, tarp system and Pintle Hook. Bids should include these specifications or equivalent. Prospective bidders must meet all pertinent Federal, State and Local statutory and regulatory requirements.
