Sealed proposals will be received by the Monongalia County Development Authority, until 12:00 noon, prevailing local time, Friday, September 18, 2015, at which time, bids will be publicly opened and read for the following:
Renovations to the
Morgantown Enterprise Center Building
955 Hartman Run Road, Morgantown, WV 26505

The work generally will consist of the total interior and exterior renovation of an existing three-story 15,000 square foot office building.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the project site. A jobsite view will be conducted with a representative of the MCDA, and Bradley Frankhouser, from Desmone Architects, the Architect of Record, following the meeting. Attendance at this pre-bid meeting is mandatory. A responsible officer of the bidder should attend.

Plans and Specifications may be obtained at the offices of the Monongalia County Development Authority, 955 Hartman Run Road, Suite 200, Morgantown, WV 26505, telephone: (304)296-6684 on or after noon on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 for a non-refundable deposit of $150.00, with checks made payable to Desmone Architects.

As required in the project documents, the Bidder will be required to submit a Bid Bond with the bid. The selected Contractor shall furnish Performance and Payment Bonds as required, along with certificates of insurance for itself with the owner (Monongalia County Development Authority), named as additional insured prior to commencement of the work. The Contractor will also be required to enter into a separate Partial Waiver of Liens Agreement with the MCDA.

No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. Submit bid on the forms supplied, and in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and the Contract Documents. All envelopes containing bid proposals shall be sealed and clearly marked "MCDA – Morgantown Enterprise Center".

The MCDA reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or waive any informality in the bidding. A non-collusion affidavit must be executed and attached to each bid. Bid proposals that do not have an executed non-collusion statement will be rejected.
