Tariff Form No. 8-A1 PUBLIC NOTICE OF CHANGE IN RATES IN EFFECT SUBJECT TO REFUND NOTICE is hereby given that Bluewell Public Service District, a public utility, will on or after October 12, 2015, file with the PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION OF WEST VIRGINIA, an application containing increased rates, tolls and charges for furnishing water service to approximately 2,958 (number of customers) residential, commercial, industrial, and public authority customers in and around various areas of in the County of Mercer (name localities). The proposed increased rates and charges will produce approximately $99,171.00 annually in additional revenue, an increase of 7.5{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}. The increases shown are based on averages of all customers in the indicated class. The requested rates and charges went into effect subject to refund 14 days after the date the utility filed its rate application and are subject to change (increases or decreases) by the Public Service Commission in its review of this filing. Each class may receive an increase or decrease greater or less than stated here. Individual customers may receive increases that are greater or less than average. If the Commission approves lower rates, the utility will be required to make customer refunds consistent with W. Va. Code ?24-2-4a and Commission order. (If a hearing is scheduled, notice will be given of the time and place of hearing.) Anyone desiring to protest or intervene should file a written protest or notice of intervention prior to November 13, 2015, unless otherwise modified by Commission order. Failure to timely protest or intervene can affect your rights to protest any rate increases and to participate in future proceedings. All protests or requests to intervene should briefly state the reason for the protest or intervention. Requests to intervene must comply with the Commission’s rule on intervention set forth in the Commission’s Rules of Practice and Procedure.
