NOTICE TO ENGINEERS
Pursuant to West Virginia Code §5G-1-3, Statement of Qualifications and Performance Data, the Monongalia County Development Authority (MCDA) is seeking expressions of interest from Engineering firms for professional engineering services for the planning and development of the Morgantown Airpark, a new 13 acre flex office and industrial park to be developed adjacent to the Morgantown Municipal Airport in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Professional engineering services required will consist of conceptual business park planning (including proposed building lots, utilities, roadways, facilities, open space, signage, and amenities) and generating project cost estimates and timelines for development to assist the MCDA in evaluating project feasibility.
Interested firms are invited to submit their Statement of Qualifications, including performance data and any other pertinent information desired, to the Monongalia County Development Authority, Attn: Holly Childs, Director, 955 Hartman Run Road, Suite 200, Morgantown, WV 26505, on or before Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 4:00 p.m.
Statements of Qualifications must detail each firm’s technical expertise, demonstrate experience with similar projects, and at a minimum include at least three references for projects completed within the past two years. Descriptions of relevant projects completed within the last 10 years must also be included, along with resumes of key project personnel. Seven (7) copies are to be provided.
A selection team will evaluate the Statements of Qualifications and will conduct interviews with at least three of the professional firms submitting these qualifications deemed to be the most highly qualified to provide the services required. Following interviews, firms will be ranked in order of preference with the highest ranked firm entering into contract negotiations with the Monongalia County Development Authority.
The Monongalia County Development Authority reserves the right to reject any and all statements from interested firms and to make the award in any manner deemed by it, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of Monongalia County and in accordance with WV Code §5G-1-3.
