NOTICE OF A PUBLIC MEETING REGARDING THE PROPOSED TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF A SECTION OF COUNTY ROUTE 11/1 MERCER COUNTY An informational public meeting will be conducted by MET Resources, LLC on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Montcalm High School, 5366 Simmons River Road, Rock, West Virginia 24747 regarding the proposed temporary closure of a section of Mercer CR 11/1 and subsequent construction by MET Resources, LLC of a replacement roadway near Matoaka, West Virginia. MET Resources, LLC has requested from the Division of Highways (DOH) approval to close for a period of 5 years an approximate 0.20-mile section of CR 11/1 to facilitate the company’s mining activities. After the closure period is completed, a new replacement roadway, of as good or better condition and alignment than the existing alignment, and the replacement roadway would be part of the State Highway System. Scheduled from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the meeting will afford citizens an opportunity to ask questions and provide input concerning this proposed temporary closure and replacement roadway. MET Resources, LLC will be present to discuss the project and receive public comments. Those wishing to file written comments may send them to David E.
