Petition for consent and approval of acquisition of indirect control over Bluefield Gas Company. NOTICE OF HEARING On August 25, 2015, Bluefield Gas Company and Utility Pipeline, Ltd. (UPL) jointly requested the approval of the Public Service Commission of West Virginia of a proposed transaction by which UPL would acquire an indirect majority ownership interest in Bluefield Gas. Bluefield Gas provides natural gas utility services to residential, commercial and industrial customers in Bluefield, Mercer County. The Joint Petitioners assert that the management, financing, operations, employee levels, service levels or rates of Bluefield Gas will not change because of the transaction. The Commission will conduct a hearing in this matter at 9:30 a.m. December l, 2015, in the Howard M. Cunningham Hearing Room at Commission headquarters, 201 Brooks Street, Charleston, West Virginia.
