To Be Held At Town Hall
1000 Washington Street, Harpers Ferry, WV
To establish the geographical boundaries of the
Promontory Overlay District and to
Amend Part 13-Project and Zoning Code
The Harpers Ferry Town Council will recommend a new zoning overlay district to be named the Promontory Overlay District and an amendment (Article 1313.04) to Part 13-Project and Zoning Code to establish the parcels to be included and the regulations for building, land use, and site design of the area named as the Promontory Overlay District.
Two hearings for the geographical boundaries for a new zoning overlay district and the amendment will be held. These are:
June 4, 2016 at 9:30 a.m.
June 6, 2016 at 7:00 p.m.
Interested parties may appear and be heard in regard to the proposals and their testimony will be considered by the Town Council in its deliberation on the proposals. Copies of the proposed amendment are available from the Clerk at Town Hall, 1000 Washington Street, Harpers Ferry, WV or on the town website at http://www.harpersferrywv.us/. Written comments may be sent by e-mail to [email protected] or mailed to The Corporation of Harpers Ferry, PO Box 217, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425 to the attention of the Town Clerk. Written comments must be received by the close of business on Monday, June 6, 2016.
