Friends of Blackwater (FOB) is accepting Statement Of Qualifications (SOQ) for the design of active/passive treatment project for acid mine drainage in Tucker County. Interested firms should submit one letter of interest and relevant supporting materials to: Friends of Blackwater, Attn: David Young, PO BOX 247, Thomas, WV 26269.Please include the following information: 1) a letter of interest, 2) a list of personnel involved and resumes, 3) a list and description of active or passive AMD treatment projects designed in the last five years, 4) a list of organization contacts to serve as references, including non-profit watershed organizations if possible; and any other relevant performance data the firm chooses to include. The firms considered best qualified to design active/passive treatment of acid mine drainage will then be issued detailed requests for proposals. For consideration for FOB’s next project, please submit your SOQ no later than 4:00 pm on April, 28 2017. The evaluation of submissions and the selection of any firm will be based on the materials contained within the RFQ.
