NOTICE
On this date, December 10th, 2014, the Marion County Commission approved the 2014 Land Use Master Plan. As a result of Senate Bill 603 the Land Use Master Pan was developed to assist counties affected by surface mining in West Virginia. Approval of the plan provides the Marion County Commission and the Marion County Economic Development Office the ability to enhance development opportunities for alternate land uses of surface mine; therefore, setting standards for development on such properties in Marion County.
