MEDICAL WASTE FACILITY PLAN APPROVAL FOR
PRINCETON HEALTH CARE CENTER

Princeton Health Care Center has submitted an Infectious Medical Waste Plan Application with the Department of Health and Human Resources Bureau for Public Health Office of Environmental Health Services. The proposed facility is located at 315 Courthouse Road, Princeton, WV 24740. Our telephone number is 304-487-3458.This notice commences a 30-day written public comment period from November 25, 2019, through December 26, 2019.
Princeton Health Care is a responsible medical facility whose medical waste compromises about 95{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c} of solid infectious medical waste and 5{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c} of liquid infectious medical waste. These infectious medical wastes are not contained permanently at the office. Medical waste from the office are all disposed of by a certified infectious medical waste facility per regulatory guidelines.

Princeton Health Care Center invites all interested parties to submit written comments concerning the proposed facility. All written comments must be signed by the person making the comments and include his/her name and address. Princeton Health Care Center will review all written comments. If the director finds a significant degree of public interest in the proposed permit, or that a hearing may clarify one or more issues involved in the permit approval, the director will schedule a public hearing on this matter.
