Installation of Wastewater
Treatment Systems
The Mercer County Board of Education invites bids to provide all work related to the installation of a Wastewater Treatment System at Lashmeet/Matoaka School. The work includes the removal and disposal of the current system and the purchase and installation of new specified system. The work also includes but is not limited to all labor, material, equipment, supplies, and transportation related to the project. A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for 11 :00 a.m., March 8, 2019 at Lashmeet/Matotaka School, 5709 Matoaka Road, Matoaka WV 24736. Qualified bidders shall have at least five years verifiable experience in similar projects. A bid bond furnished by a solvent surety company in an amom1t equal to five (5{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}) of the total amount of the bid, payable to the MCBOE, shall be submitted with each Bid. The successful bidder and all subcontractors will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond. The successful Bidder will also be required to execute a contract and comply with all rules and regulations of the WV Workers’ Compensation Fund. Other requirements are detailed in the bid package which will be distributed at the mandatory pre-bid meeting.
