Notice is hereby given that the City of Mount Hope, a municipal corporation, will be holding a Special Excess Levy Election on February 8, 2020. Early voting will be held January 24, 2020 – February 5, 2020 during regular City Hall office Hours, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.. This election is to authorize continuation of present levies for the fiscal years of 2020-2021, 2021-2022, 2022-2023, and 2023-2024 for the purpose of street lighting, street repairs and maintenance, and recreational facilities according to the order of the Council entered on the 12th of November, 2019. The additional levies shall be on Class I Property 6.25 cents, on Class II Property 12.50 cents, on Class IV Property 25 cents.
