NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO CHANGE RATES
On July 1, 2019, the Ministers Run Water Association, a public utility, filed with the Public Service Commission of West Virginia, an application requesting increased rates and charges for furnishing water service to 131 customers in its service territory in Marion and Monongalia Counties. Staff of the Public Service Commission has reviewed the application and recommended increased rates and charges designed to produce approximately $79,707, annually, in additional revenue over existing rates, an increase of 3.2{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}.

The above charges are subject to an additional $0.46 per 1,000 gallons used per month.
TAP FEE
A tap fee of $350.00 will be charged to all customers who apply for service outside of a certificate proceeding before the Commission for each new tap to the system.
The average monthly bill (3,350 gallons) for the residential customers over existing rates would be changed as follows:

The Ministers Run Water Association has no resale customers.
The rates adopted may be lower than or higher than or the same as recommended.
Anyone desiring to protest the changed rates and charges must do so, in writing, within ten (10) days of the date of publication of this notice. All protests should be addressed to the Executive Secretary, Public Service Commission of West Virginia, P.O. Box 812, Charleston, WV 25323. To help the Commission determine the justification for additional review and investigation, protests must be specific as to reasons that the changed rates and charges should be modified. In addition, anyone desiring a hearing in this matter must request a hearing in the letter of protest for consideration by the Commission.
Absent substantial protest, the Commission may approve the proposed rates without a hearing.
