NOTICE OF MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER ADOPTION OF FUNDING ASSISTANCE RESOLUTION Pursuant to the provisions of West Virginia Code Chapter 6, Article 9A, and in accordance with the provisions of West Virginia Code Chapter 16, Article 13A, and West Virginia Code Chapter 22C, Article 1, as amended, you are hereby notified that a meeting of the Board (the "Board") of the Elk Valley Public Service District (the "District") will be held on the 5th day of November to consider for adoption a Funding Assistance Resolution (the "Resolution") and approve the acceptance by the District of funding from the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection in the form of Funding Assistance ("Funding Assistance") for the purpose of additions, betterments, and improvements for the construction of certain improvements and extensions to the sewerage system for the benefit of the District. The acceptance of the Funding Assistance will provide all or a portion of the funds to finance the cost of the design for the construction of additions, betterments and improvements to the existing sewerage system of the District. A copy of the Resolution is available for examination by any interested person at the District office located at 100 Bream Drive, Elkview West Virginia, during regular office hours of such office, which are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Board meeting and public hearing will be held at the: District office at 100 Bream Drive, Elkview West Virginia on the 5th day of November, 2025 at 8:00 a.m., and any person or persons interested may appear before the Board and be heard as to whether or not the Resolution shall be put into effect. The Board will hear all suggestions, protests and objections to the acceptance of the Funding Assistance.
