NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON PART 1 ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, CHAPTER 5 ADMINISTRATIVE, ARTICLE 136 RENTAL DWELLING UNITS
The City of Charles Town will hold a public hearing on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 7:00 pm, prevailing time, to consider an amendment to the Codified Ordinance with Regard to Part 1 Administrative Code, Chapter 5 Administrative, Article 136 Rental Dwelling Units. The proposed ordinance, which was introduced to City Council by first reading on June 16, 2025, may be inspected by the public at the Office of the City Clerk by visiting City Hall at 101 E. Washington Street, Charles Town, WV or by emailing the Deputy City Clerk at [email protected] and requesting an electronic copy.
Any person interested in this matter may appear before the Charles Town City Council at the City Hall, 101 E. Washington Street, Charles Town, West Virginia, and present any comment or protest thereto. Persons wishing to appear before Council to make live remote comment must enroll with the Deputy City Clerk at [email protected] no later than 5:00 pm on July 21, 2025.
Following this hearing City Council may act upon the proposed ordinance by public motion and vote.
