PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on Tuesday July 15, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Room at Charles Town City Hall, 101 E. Washington Street, Charles Town, WV by the City of Charles Town Board of Zoning Appeals on the following matter:
BA2025-02: George Childs is seeking a variance for a garage with living space, to be located at 525 S. Samuel St. The request is to reduce the rear yard setback from 20 ft. to 10 ft., and the side yard setback from 10 ft. to 5 ft. The property is located approximately 270 ft. south of the intersection of Hunter and S. Samuel St., and is also identified as Tax District 3/Map 3/Parcel 50. The property is zoned Old Town Residential.
