PUBLIC HEARING

The Jefferson County Planning Commission has scheduled a Public Hearing on the proposed text amendment to the Jefferson County Subdivision and Land Development Regulations, File #STA25-01. The text amendment proposes a revision to Section 24.133, “Major Subdivision Preliminary Plat – Application Submission and Completeness Review”, Section 24.122, “Major Site Plan Application – Submission and Completeness Review”, and Division 26.200, “Definition of Terms” of the Jefferson County Subdivision and Land Development Regulations to further elaborate on establishing the necessary criteria regarding Historical Resource Protection.
Oral or written comments can be provided at the hearing, 7:00 PM Tuesday, September 9, 2025 in the County Commission Meeting Room located on the main level of the Jefferson County Government Complex (entrance on East side of building), 393 N. Lawrence Street, Charles Town, WV 25414 You may also submit written comments to [email protected] or to PO Box 716, Charles Town, WV 25414.
