NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING A public hearing will be held on the following-entitled Ordinance at a regular meeting of the City Council of The City of Huntington (the "City") to be held on Monday, June 22, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. (or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard) in the City Council Chambers located at City Hall, 800 5th Avenue, Huntington, West Virginia, and at such hearing any person interested may appear before the City and present protests, and all protests and suggestions shall be heard by the City and it shall then take such actions as it shall deem proper in the premises upon an Ordinance entitled: ORDINANCE WITH RESPECT TO THE LEASE-PURCHASING OF CERTAIN EQUIPMENT FROM THE OHIO VALLEY BANK. AND AUTHORIZING THE TAKING OF ACTIONS RELATED THERETO. Notice is further hereby given that on June 8, 2026, the City adopted an Ordinance on first reading authorizing and directing the lease purchase of not more than $2,000,000 in aggregate principal amount of certain rolling stock and equipment specifically including, but not limited to, Vactor Truck, Track Loader, 3 Dump Trucks, Loader-Backhoe, Service Trucks, and other miscellaneous equipment required to operate and maintain the sanitary sewer and stormwater system (the "Property"), for use by the City through the Huntington Sanitary Board. The Ordinance further provides for the leasing of the Property to the City pursuant to a Lease Purchase Agreement from The Ohio Valley Bank. A certified copy of the above-entitled Ordinance is on file with the City Clerk of the City for review by interested parties during regular office hours.
