NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON
APPLICATION BY MOUNTAINEER GAS COMPANY OF WEST VIRGINIA TO CLOSE AN UNDEVELOPED STREET

You are hereby notified that there will be a public hearing before the
Berkeley County Planning Commission at 400 West Stephen Street, Suite 203, Martinsburg, WV 25401-3838 on January 16, 2020, at 10:15 o’clock a.m., upon the petition of Mountaineer Gas Company to close an undeveloped street or
alleyway, which is described as follows:
The property is located on the west side of U.S. Route 11 (Williamsport Pike), approximately 0.1 mile north of Joshua Drive and 0.2 mile north of
Berkeley Plaza.
The property is identified as being in Opequon
District, Tax Map 6, Parcel 37.
The street closure will be in conjunction with a
proposed 9,046 square foot commercial warehouse and office building.
The purpose of his
hearing will be to accept public comments and hear any other evidence regarding, and potentially take action upon, a
request by Mountaineer Gas Company for the
closure and vacation of an undeveloped potion of a street.
