NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED LEVY RATES
To: Citizens of the City of Fairmont
Please take notice that the undersigned will reconvene a meeting of the
Council of the City of Fairmont on Tuesday, April 21, 2019 at 4:30 p.m., In
the Council Chambers at the Public Safety Building, 500 Quincy St.,
Fairmont, WV, for the following purpose:
ADOPTION, A RESOLUTION APPROVING RATES OF LEVY LAID BY CITY OF
FAIRMONT, MARION COUNTY, AND APPROVED BY THE STATE TAX
COMMISSIONER FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
BEGINNING JULY 1, 2019 IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 11, ARTICLE 8
OF THE WEST VIRGINIA CODE, AS AMENDED.
Copies of the proposed Resolution are available in the office of the City
Clerk, Room 312, 200 Jackson St., Fairmont, WV.
Any interested person may appear at the public hearing and be heard as to
whether or not said Resolution should be enacted.
All objections and suggestion shall be heard and Council shall take such
action as it deems necessary in the premises.
