NOTICE OF RATE CHANGE AND PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE that the New River Transit Authority will hold a public hearing on proposed rates for bus services on April 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Oak Hill City Council Chambers, Oak Hill City Hall, 100 Kelly Avenue, Oak Hill, West Virginia. The proposed rate is $2.50 per boarding and will go into effect on June 29, 2015. The public is invited to attend and comment on the proposed rates. The bus services affected are: bus service in the Beckley and Sophia areas of Raleigh County and the Mount Hope, Oak Hill and Fayetteville areas of Fayette County, West Virginia (currently MTA Fayette County Route) and points in-between.
