NOTICE OF SALE
Notice is hereby given that Jeffery A. Davis and Wayne King, Special Commissioners, will on the 12th day of August, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., at the front door of the Courthouse of Clay County, at Clay, West Virginia, sell at public auction to the highest bidder for cash in hand or a letter of credit from a lending institution at the time of sale all of that certain tract or parcel of land situate on the waters of Big Sycamore of Middle Creek, in Pleasant District of Clay County, West Virginia, and further bounded and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a white oak where formerly stood a dogwood, comer to Columbus Woods and thence with his line S. 58 E., 610 feet to a stake on the bank of Big Sycamore Creek 16 1/2 feet above where a buckeye stood; thence up the creek with the meanders thereof S. 45 W., 140 feet; thence S. 51 1/2 W., 69 feet; thence S. 63 1/2 W., 106 feet; thence S. 46 1/2 W., 140 feet; thence S. 40 W., 256 feet; thence S. 45 W., 254 feet; thence S. 54 W., 324 feet; thence S. 23 W., 296 feet; thence S. 19 W., 148 feet to a stake on the bank of Big Sycamore Creek; thence across the whole tract S. 48 1/2 W., 420 feet, passing an apple tree in the bottom which is a center line tree, to a stake on the outside line of whole tract; thence with said outside line N. 36 1/2 E., 1635 feet to the place of beginning containing Sixteen and three-fourths acres (16 3/4), more or less together with a right of way for a road for general purposes up and along said Big Sycamore Creek, through Lot No. 2, to the State Public Road.
Being a part of that same certain real property conveyed to William D. Ramsey and Eugene Brown by that certain deed of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Clay County, West Virginia, in Deed Book 124, at Page 499. Being also a part of the real property inherited by the Tom Naylor heirs.
Upon the day appointed for sale, the undersigned Commissioners, if they deem it advisable for any reason, may adjourn the sale from time to time by oral or other announcement at the place of sale, in which event no further advertisement or notice of sale shall be given.
The sale will be made subject to all exceptions, reservations, easements and out conveyances of record, as well as what a reasonable inspection of the property may reveal.
