NOTICE OF SALE
Please be advised that the undersigned Special Commissioners have been appointed by virtue of that certain Order of the Clay County Circuit Court dated April 18, 2016 to sell the property which is the subject of the litigation styled William P. Ferrebee vs. Cova C. Ferrebee, et al., Clay County Circuit Court Civil Action No. 12-C-27. Said property will be sold on the steps of the Clay County Courthouse which is located at 207 Main Street, Clay, West Virginia 25043 on March 9, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Said property is described as follows:
BEGINNING at a chestnut on ridge corner to Part No. 1 thence
S 81-45 E 820.0 to Red oak Stump, N. 70-15 E 1060.0 to a
point, N. 71-15 E 715.0 to corner to Part No. 3 thence by line
of Part No. 3 N 5-30 E 1760.0 to corner in line of Part No. 5-B
thence by Part No. 5-B’s 84-30 W 1287.0 to a chestnut oak
thence N 25-00 W 530.0 to a chestnut oak corner to land of
Ellis Hyer thence by land of said Ellis Hyer N 62-40 W 438.0,
N 78-00 W 298.0, N 80-00 W 214.0 to mark on large rock
thence West 248.0 to a chestnut on ridgeS 10-00 W 495.0 to
a stake corner in Part No. 1 thence by said Part No. 1 S 68-00

of beginning containing 115.5 acres, more or less.
The terms of the sale are as follows:
1. The minimum bid shall be One Hundred, Fourteen Thousand Dollars ($114,000.00).
2. A letter of credit from a financial institution or 10{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c} certified or cashier funds will be necessary to bid on the sale of said property.
3. The sale shall only be final upon approval of the Court with any and all down payment and/ or proceeds to be held until further order of the Court.
4. The Special Commissioner has a right to cancel the sale without notice.
