NOTICE OF SALE OF MUNICIPAL PROPERTY
In accordance with W.Va. Code §8-12-18(b), W.Va. State Code §8-1-5a, the West Virginia Municipal Home Rule Program, and Town of Romney Ordinance NO. 2022.08, notice ls hereby given by the Town Council of Romney, W.Va., that the closing of the sale of the below described municipal property will occur at 56 E Main St, Romney, WV 26757 Romney, WV on May 29, 2025 at 12:00.
The municipally owned property to be sold is the real estate on School Street in Romney, WV, identified as TMP 8-1-245; comprising approximately .83 acres more or less; having the legal address of: 260 & 240 SCHOOL ST, together with all appurtenances thereon.
The above-mentioned municipally owned property is being conveyed to purchaser Statton Clark under general warranty deed for a price of one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000.00), paid in cash to the Romney Board of Parks and Recreation at closing.
