NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING OF UNION PUBLIC SERVICE DISTRICT, KANAWHA COUNTY, WV NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING THIS NOTIFICATION CONSTITUTES PUBLIC NOTICE OF THE DISTRICT'S INTENT TO PURSUE AN INCREASE IN SEWER RATES, CHARGES AND FEES AFTER PUBLIC HEARING THE COMMISSIONERS OF UNION PUBLIC SERVICE DISTRICT WILL CONSIDER THE RATE ORDINANCE ON SECOND READING AND ADOPTION OF THE ORDINANCE In accordance with the requirements of W. VA. CODE 16-13A-9, Union Public Service District (the "District") provides notice of its intent to pursue an increase in its current rates and charges for sewer service. The District will conduct a public hearing regarding the proposed sewer rate increase March 25, 2026 at 1:00 p.m., at the Tyler Mountain Volunteer Fire Department Community Building, 5382 Big Tyler Rd., Cross Lanes, West Virginia. The public hearing is open to the public and all interested parties may appear at the public hearing and present comments or protest with respect to the proposed sewer rate increase. After the public hearing the Board of Commissioners of Union Public Service District will consider the rate resolution on second reading and consider the same for final adoption. Details regarding the proposed increased sewer rates are on file with and available for public inspection during normal business hours at District's office, 5110 Washington St. W., Cross Lanes, West Virginia.
