NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on August 28, 2018, at 6:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers of the Town Hall in Bluefield, Virginia, the Town Council and Planning Commission of the Town of Bluefield, Virginia will hold two (2) JOINT PUBLIC HEARINGS, consecutively, to receive input regarding the proposed rezoning of certain sections of College Avenue and Spring Street within the corporate limits of the town. This rezoning will change residential districts (R-2) into business districts (B-2) within those areas for the purpose of promoting economic development. A map or maps of the specific areas to be rezoned are available for review at the Building & Zoning Department of the Town Hall at 112 Huffard Drive in Bluefield, Virginia. Such maps may be viewed Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. All interested persons are invited to appear at the said JOINT PUBLIC HEARINGS and present their views.
