NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Room at Charles Town City Hall, 101 E. Washington Street, Charles Town, WV by the City of Charles Town Planning Commission on the following matter:
Waiver Request 2016-0003 for Dollar General
The applicant, CD DG Charles Town, LLC, has submitted a request to have overhead electrical lines. Applicant is requesting a waiver from Section 1333.13(A) which references Codified Ordinances of Charles Town Section 926.04 which requires all electrical lines to be underground.
Waiver Request 2016-0004 for Hunter Hill Development LLC/Trussell Property
The applicant, Pennoni Associates Inc. has submitted a townhouse site plan for the construction of 38 townhomes on the rear of the Hunter Hill Property to be accessed from Liberty Street. The historic house is not part of this request. The property is addressed as 619 East Washington Street. The properties are identified by District 3, Tax Map 2, Parcel 262, 210 and 240 is zoned Old Town Residential.
The applicant, Pennoni Associates Inc., has submitted a request for a waiver from Section 1333.15(E) to reduce the minimum buffer width from 20 feet to 14 feet.
Waiver Request 2016-0005 for Hunter Hill Development LLC/Trussell Property
The applicant, Pennoni Associates Inc., has submitted a request for a waiver from Section 1333.20(C) to reduce the 100 foot minimum tract width for a group of townhomes to 96 feet.
Waiver Request 2016-0006 for Hunter Hill Development LLC/Trussell Property
The applicant, Pennoni Associates Inc., has submitted a request for a waiver from Section 1333.20(L) to exceed the average daily trip for private roads, parking lots, or access Easements of 250 VPD.
