Proposed Amendment to the Approved Home Rule Plan
A public hearing will be held on Tuesday, September 6th at 7:00 in the Council Chambers at Charles Town City Hall, located at 101 East Washington St., Charles Town WV 25414. The purpose of the hearing is to solicit public comment and input regarding the City Proposed Amendment to the Home Rule Plan. The purpose of the amendment is to allow Sunday alcohol sales beginning at 10 a.m. Copies of the proposed amendment can be obtained at City Hall or it may be viewed on-line at www.charlestownwv.us. Interested parties that wish to be heard on the matter are encouraged to attend this meeting.
