NOTICE TO ARCHITECTS

Pursuant to West Virginia Code 5G-1-3, the Northern Pocahontas Community Wellness, LLC, is seeking expressions of interest from architectural firms for providing professional design services for architectural and engineering design, bidding, and construction observation services for the new Pocahontas County Community Wellness Center to be located in Green Bank, Pocahontas County, West Virginia. This project will include, but may not be limited to, a gymnasium, indoor lap pool, workout and wellness rooms, administrative offices, and other community spaces.

Architectural firms are invited to submit 3 copies of their expressions of interest to include a statement of qualifications, performance data, and other information demonstrating their experience and expertise for this project. Expressions of interest are due in the office of Malinda Meck, NPCW, PO Box 91, Green Bank, WV 24944 no later than 5:00pm EDT on March 31, 2015 and should be clearly marked “EOI Architectural Services Northern Pocahontas Community Wellness Center.”

An administrative selection team will evaluate the submitted statements of qualification and conduct interviews with at least three firms being deemed the most qualified for the project requirements. The firms will be ranked in order of preference and recommended to the full board for approval and selection.

Attention is directed to the fact that funding for this project will be from both public and private sources. All work will be performed in accordance with all applicable State and Federal laws, rules, and regulations. The Northern Pocahontas Community Wellness, LLC, reserves the right to reject any and all statements submitted and to make the award in any manner deemed by it, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of the Northern Pocahontas Community Wellness Center and in accordance with West Virginia Code 5G-1-3.
