NOTICE TO BIDDERS The City of Beckley is seeking proposals on its Group Health Insurance Benefits renewing January 1, 2016. A packet of information is available for pick up at the City Municipal Building, Recorder-Treasurer’s Office, 409 South Kanawha Street, Beckley, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday or by making a request by email to arakes@beckley.org. Proposals will be received until 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 27, 2015 and then publicly opened and read aloud during a regular meeting of the Common Council at 6:30 p.m. All proposals must be submitted to the Recorder – Treasurer in sealed envelopes clearly marked on the outside to indicate that the contents is a “health insurance bid”. Proposals may be hand delivered to 409 South Kanawha Street, or mailed to the Recorder – Treasurer at P.O. Box 2514, Beckley, West Virginia 25802-2514. The renewal date for health benefits to begin is January 1, 2016. The Common Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or any part of any bid without cause.
