NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The GREENBRIER COUNTY AIRPORT AUTHORITY will receive Bids for the Runway Crack Repair Project, in the Main Terminal Lobby at the Greenbrier Valley Airport located at 584 Airport Road, Box 1, Lewisburg, West Virginia 24901 until August 20, 2019 at 11:00 AM, at which time and place all Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the stated deadline will not be opened.
The work may be generally des-cribed as, but is not limited to the repair and sealing of pavement surface cracks on the runway asphalt surface. No Bid may be withdrawn after closing time for the receipt of Bids for a period of thirty (30) consecutive calendar days. A Pre-Bid Conference Meeting will not be held. Questions relating to the Contract and Contract Documents must be submitted in writing to the Engineer no later than 4:00 pm on August 16, 2019.
Bidding and Contract Documents may be requested via email [Hunter Boniface ([email protected])] and may be examined at the Greenbrier Valley Airport, Administration Office. Documents will be provided via electronic transfer. The Greenbrier County Airport Authority and Parrish and Partners are not responsible for bid documents obtained from other sources. Each Bidder must be properly licensed by West Virginia Code. Each Bidder shall certify, by submission of a proposal, that neither it nor its principals is presently debarred, suspended, pro-posed for debarment, declared ineligible, or voluntarily excluded from parti-cipation in this transaction by any Federal department or agency or the State of West Virginia.
The Greenbrier Valley Airport reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in or to reject any or all Bids and to award or refrain from awarding the Contract for the work, whichever is deemed to be in the Authority’s best interest.
