Notice to Bidders
The Common Council of the City of Beckley will accept bids for repairs to the exterior surfaces on Beckley Fire Department Station #1 located at 3rd Ave, Beckley and Beckley Fire Department Station #2 on Pikeview Drive in Beckley. These repairs will consist of siding, soffit, and trim work. Bids shall include all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and necessary debris removal and/or disposal.
There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting to establish the scope of work to be provided. The pre-bid meeting for Beckley Fire Department Station #1 will take place at 310 3rd Avenue, Beckley, on October 15, 2019, at 10:00 a.m.. The pre-bid meeting for Beckley Fire Department Station #2 will take place at 10 Pikeview Drive, Beckley, on October 15, 2019, at 1:00 p.m.. All bid specifications will be provided at these meetings.
Bids will be received until 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 22, 2019. All sealed bids will be opened publicly and read aloud during the regular meeting of Common Council beginning at 6:30 pm in Council Chambers at 409 South Kanawha Street.
Bids must be submitted to the Recorder-Treasurer in sealed envelopes clearly marked to indicate contents. Bids may be hand delivered to 409 South Kanawha Street or mailed to PO Box 2514, Beckley, WV 25802-2514.
The City of Beckley reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or any part of any bid without cause.
